Evening Wheel Throwing Class (5 weeks)

Ceramic wheel throwing class (5 weeks).

This class is for you, if you have never tried throwing on the wheel or if you have little experience. It consists of 5 classes of 3,5 hours in the evening from 17.30 to 21.00. You will be introduced to the characteristics of clay og how it can be turned from dirt to product. 

Within the first three classes you will become familiar with different wheel techniques and become comfortable with centering clay and throwing basic shapes. Class four is spent on trimming your pieces, carving or putting on handles. In the last class we glaze everything in order for it to be ready for the last firing. The pieces you have created can then be picked up after approx. two weeks. 

Classes in Danish or English and take place in our Copenhagen studio. 

All materials + tea, coffee and small snacks included. 

*class 1 skips week 5. 

Class 1:

Class 2: 

20/2, 27/2, 6/3, 13/3 & 20/3

Class 3: 

 27/3, 3/4, 10/4, 17/4 & 24/4
